We pursue this goal both by providing inclusive, enjoyable training in AI for everyone and also by creating new AI models and software systems that pursue human-AI alignment from different directions.

AI-human teaming and collaborative problem solving – Developing models that are specially well suitable for joint human-AI team performance.
We offer a comprehensive e-learning platform with several levels of difficulty for each course, optimized based on learners' affective and attentive state, performance and feedback. Our learning material development is supported by an AI-powered course editor which assists in creating and customizing course content, ensuring a tailored learning experience for each user.
Learn the basics of artificial intelligence, its foundations, applications, and impact on society. Everybody can learn AI from us, it requires no prior math knowledge. Our AI course is suitable for all skill levels. Our aim is to give a personalized, enjoyable learning experience, which welcomes everyone to the world of AI. Our studies show that our learners feel more confident in learning about AI and new technology after taking our course and that their emotional state is more positive after the training than when the training starts. We give hands on practical knowledge that supports the use of AI in both personal and profession live. We also support and foster the ability to contribute to discussion about which boundaries AI should have and socially and ethically responsible use of AI.
Orignally designed by our Catalan collaboration partner Institut Antoni de Martí i Franquès, the goal of this course is to train critical thinking skills focusing on digital media. Learners are trained in distinguishing between facts and propaganda and in contributing in a constructive manner to democratic modern debate on social media. After learning about opposite views on a chosen theme, learners present their view, referencing different opinions. We train both expression and participation though short recorded videos and also social media posts. We nurture essential live skills while preparing learners for an active role in a democratic society where constructive debate plays a key role.
